7 Ways Sales People Can Express Gratitude
Thanksgiving is a time to express gratitude. Here are seven ways sales people can give thanks to their clients and co-workers in the spirit of the season:
  1. Send a hand-written card or an e-card with a coffee gift card to your top clients. Everyone sends Christmas cards; sending a Thanksgiving card has the added advantage of making you stand out from the crowd.
  2. Make a donation to a charity supported by your top clients.
  3. Set up a year-end client review meeting to recap 2015 and discuss what you can do in 2016 to continue earning the business.
  4. Re-contact everyone who gave you a lead this year. Let them know what happened, and thank them again for providing the lead.
  5. Speaking of leads, go out of your way to look for leads to give to your clients.
  6. Write a recommendation or make endorsements for your clients and co-workers on LinkedIn.
  7. Do something special for your support team to thank them for helping to take care of your clients — a lunch or a gift card is sure to be appreciated.
